Responsibilities
- To apply the principles and procedures of modern medicine in preventing, diagnosing, caring for and treating illness, disease and injury;
- Supervise the implementation of care and treatment plans by other medical personnel,
- Conduct medical education and research activities in clinical area of work
- Participates in the development of procedures for the department
- Makes decisions regarding work processes based on established guidelines
- Prioritizes and organizes work to meet changing conditions and any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must have bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
- Successfully completed one year internship from a recognized institution.
- Must poses a valid practicing from Medical Practitioners and dentist board.
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
- Must meet the requirement of the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
