Roles for the Digital Channel Business Development Officer Job
- Coordinate development and enhancement on digital channels to deliver best in class client experience for investment, lending products and uplift online usage
- Act as business user and work with technology team on new initiatives and system development projects
- Perform quality testing and follow up with relevant parties to resolve issues
- Assist manager in projects, day-to-day operations and content maintenance across all digital and remote
- Coordinate marketing program to uplift usage in online/digital banking
- Take up ad hoc assignments when required
- Evaluating credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
- Checking through the system the eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans to specific clients applicants
- Determining all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt repayment plans
- Maintain and Update accounts records
- Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
- Continually conduct market surveys so as to understand the market and product trends in order to determine the competitiveness of the company and also to recommend products and pricing reviews and a new product development
- Driving and managing market outreach promotional programs to create product awareness and cultivate business networks and customer relations to grow the portfolio
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and any other ad-hoc reports as may be required by the immediate supervisor/superior
- Grow deposits through managing relations with borrowers to open accounts
Digital Channel Business Development Officer Job Requirements
- 2 years in digital lending platform, preferable with online channel and with understanding of consumer banking products or wealth management products
- University degree in Business, e-Commerce, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Sound knowledge in internet, and keen sense for the development trends in Internet and web design
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and good analytical skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Project management experience will be an advantage
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Kiswahili
