Location: Nairobi

Nature of Job: Full time

Job Summary: Our client a local TV is looking to hire energetic and results-driven sales and marketing representatives to source for adverts to feature in their TV and radio stations.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Analyze the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients. Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote product. Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, product and availability.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management.

Key Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing
  • Experience selling TV and Radio adverts will be an added advantage
  • Social media marketing skills
  • Customer service and people skills
  • Phone, email, and chat communication skills
  • Prospecting skills
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Computer literacy skills
