Chief Cooperative Officer Job at Kisii County

The Kisii County Government wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Section 63 of the County Government Act, 2012.

Duties And Responsibilities for the Chief Cooperative Officer Job

  • Co-operative development projects and marketing programmes.
  • Promoting cooperative marketing societies.
  • Advising on cooperative marketing and investments.
  • Analyzing data for policy formulation.
  • Enforcing compliance with legislation.
  • Developing and monitoring work plans for extension services.
  • Overseeing and monitoring activities in several co-operative societies.
  • Evaluating marketing activities in several cooperative societies and trends for promoting the cooperative movement.

Chief Cooperative Officer Job Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Possess a  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Commerce  (marketing  option),  Business  administration,  Economics,
  • Cooperative Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Agri-business.
  • Served in the grade of Senior Cooperative Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years.
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution:-
  • Demonstrated merit and shown ability as reflected in work performance and results

NOTE:

APPLICANTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITIONS ARE REQUIRED TO GET (VALID i.e. YEAR 2018) CLEARANCE FROM THE UNDERLISTED ORGANIZATIONS TO MEET REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER SIX OF THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA 2010.

  • Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Higher Education Loans Board.
  • Criminal Investigation Department.
  • Credit Reference Bureau.
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

Copies of these clearances MUST be attached to the applications.
