Reports to: Designer

Responsibilities for the Senior Assistant Designer (Fine Art Illustrator) Job

  • Develop book cover/layout designs to print ready artworks;
  • Conceptualise, plan and execute all forms of illustrations assignments for internal clientele;
  • Generate fine art illustrations;
  • Prepare digital content files from print ready files;
  • Carry out regular back up of all design projects.
  • Undertake photography assignments; and
  • Effect textual corrections on fine art assignments as directed by project managers/editors.

Senior Assistant Designer (Fine Art Illustrator) Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in Art and Design/FineArts or Graphic Design Option.
  • Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Art and Design/Fine Art or a relevant field from a recognised body.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Problem solving, decision making, integrity, good communication, organisation and planning skills.
  • A good team player, maintains high work standards, reliable, easily adapts to new environments and self-motivated.
