Qualifications

  • Must be holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies or Bachelor of Business Management and Office Management Degree or equivalent from a recognized Institution

OR

  • Must be holder of Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Kenya National Examinations Council or equivalent plus 3 years work experience or have served for 3 years in the previous grade AND
  • Typing III, (50 WpM), Shorthand III (120WpM), Business English III, Secretarial Duties II, Office Management III, Commerce II and Personnel Management III
  • Must have computer application skills.

  • Open the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology website; dkut.ac.ke, go to the HR Recruitment  portal and fill your details as guided; and
  • Send one (1) hard copy of the application letter, accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae (signed on all pages), copies of certified academic and professional certificates, National ID card, current payslip (if any) and other relevant testimonials. They should also give their mobile numbers, email address and names of three (3) referees who should send their recommendation letters directly in sealed envelopes.
