Our Client in a bar and restaurant is looking for an assistant bar manager responsible for operation and supervision of the bar and beverage service department.
Responsibilities for the Assistant Restaurant Manager Job
Reporting to the Bar Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally.
- To assist in recruiting and training all Outlet Colleagues.
- Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions.
- Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus.
- Assist in managing the departmental budget.
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Other duties as assigned
Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Qualifications:
- Previous 2-3 years’ experience as an assistant bar and restaurant manager is required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required.
- Degree/Diploma in a related discipline preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
